KING’S COLLEGE LONDON | Research Assistant | 2017 – 2019

  • Contributed to the design, execution, and analysis of questionnaire surveys and interviews with farmers, veterinarians, food processors and government entities in Colombia.

  • Lead the planning and execution of the research field trip to Colombia.

  • Create visual material such as educational videos and brochures.

  • Support the creation of workshops and other events in Colombia.

  • Contribute to project publications and other outputs.

 

TRYBE APP | Communication Manager | 2016 – 2017

  • Produced and edited photos and videos telling the story of Trybe’s home cooks.

  • Managed the app’s presence in social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), achieving a significant increase in audience engagement.

  • Coordinated the community of Trybe’s home cooks, anticipating their needs in a fast-paced start-up environment.

  • Designed presentations, flyers and posters.

 

MUSEO NACIONAL DE COLOMBIA | Communication Manager | 2014 – 2015

  • Managed the membership scheme of Colombia’s largest museum, developing programmes which led to an increase of 250% in memberships in a period of one year.

  • Increased by 50% the range of benefits available to members by creating partnerships with organisations.

  • Managed the museum’s shop, achieving increased sales.

  • Managed the process for the makeover of the Association's corporate image.

  • Managed the fund-raising event Les Arts Florissants, the museum’s main fund-raising event in 2014.

  • Developed the Association’s social media strategy and managed its presence in such channels.

  • Managed the creation of the book celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Association.

 

EMBASSY OF COLOMBIA IN GERMANY | Communication Internship | 2013 – 2014

  • Prepared a weekly newsletter in German and Spanish for interested parties.

  • Designed the presentations and publications of the Embassy’s different work groups.

  • Designed the Handbook on Berlin to be distributed to high-level Colombian visitors to the city.

  • Contributed to the planning and execution of the Embassy’s annual programme of cultural events.

 

FREELANCER | 2012 – 2017

 

  • Colciencias Created short videos documenting the journey of Colombian PhD students in the UK for the social media channels of Colombia’s agency for the promotion of science.

  • Plan Perdón Volunteered in the creation of video and other social media content promoting the role of reconciliation and forgiveness to heal the wounds created by the Colombian armed conflict.

  • Governance Consultants Developed info-graphics for a conference on governance in family-owned businesses.

  • HAGEDI Recorded and edited videos of the Bogota Fashion Week in a programme directed at supporting the advancement of small businesses in the fashion industry.

  • DATA&TIC Designed the corporate image for this legal start-up.
